Hello Everyone!!

I am a new user to the FPN. I own and use the following (use all three, daily)

Stipula Florentia F nib - Parker Quink (to "prime it" - have not yet used a full batch of ink)

LAMY Safari XF (Bright Yellow) - Lamy cartridges - used at work for phone & meeting notes

LAMY Safari AlStar XF (graphite color) - VERY well worn in & scratched. Loaded with Noodlers Luxury Blue - for laboratory notebooks, everyday use, notes from graduate courses lectures (engineering/mathematics)

I look forward to posting more!!

Best,

Today I'm using what has become my workhorse - my BIG Romet Asia which is very compatible with my chronic arthritis. I'm reading The Adventures of Robin Hood by Paul Cheswick and keeping a reader's journal with notes on each chapter. My Romet is appropriately inked with Private Reserve's Sherwood Green.

:D

Excellent!

Loaded up my extra-flexy Falcon with Legal Lapis, a color I am not entirely sure I like. We shall see. Also running the Go! dry with my last drops of Visconti Blue.

Hi, Judybug, is that a new version of the story - "revisionist" - or a re-telling of the original tale? Sherwood Green - fantastic!

(Today, as usual for now, it's my Pelikan M800 with Visconti Blue and MB 146 with MB red.)

Today it's a black Sheaffer Imperial VI, TD filler (of course), with Diamine Presidential Blue, a 1948 Parker "51" Vac Filler with Parker Penman Sapphire Blue, and a Sheaffer Imperial VIII TD with Noodlers/Swishers Gulf Stream Blue.

CORRECTION - "The Adventures of Robin Hood" that I mentioned in an earlier post is by Paul Creswick, NOT Cheswick. Sorry.

BTW -

The Adventures of Robin Hood by Paul Creswick is a new [1991] edition of Creswick's original book - Robin Hood - published in 1902.

I'm using my Namiki Dragon and Cumulus with a medium nib and Pelikan black and my Parker Sonnet Ocean Blue rollerball today. They're both gifts from my better-half of 13 years!

Today it's a pair, both sporting purple inks:

Black Sailor 1911 full size with MF nib, older style flat top with anchor logo, inked with Richard Binder's 1:1 mix of Waterman Purple:Waterman Florida Blue.

Bexley 10th Anniversary in chocolate ebonite with stub nib, inked with Diamine Imperial Purple.

A side note:

My 2 1/2 year old son Kenneth is nuts over my pens. "Let me see. Pretty. WOW! Open it up, Daddy!" are typical of the comments that he says.

Today I let him pick my pen to carry in my pocket to church. Gave him a choice between several pens: Sheaffer Imperial TD VIII (back with rolled gold cap), Imperial TD VI (stainless steel cap with rolled gold trim), Imperial Blue TD with gold trim, and the Sailor.

He chose the Sailor due to: a) the size, and B) the anchor on the top. How do I know? Because he told me!

"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Rom. 5:8, NKJV)

This is the second time I've decided to go with a "one pen at a time" rotation. The idea is to use one pen until it is empty, then clean it and ink up another pen. When I start this I have to use one pen from among those already in rotation and continue until there is only one. This is the current pen:

Edit: It's a Wahl 4 1/4" that I bought at the DC show.

Racing around the house and errands with the baby (holidays are so much more work than work days for me), so two foolproof, bulletproof pens--Pel 150 with Pinkly and white Lamy Safari with Florida Blue.

Off to finish a snail to my mom with the Legacy II loaded with Nightshade, though.

Today, I'm using my Parker Sonnet Ocean Blue rollerball and Pelikan Madrid FP with a medium nib and Waterman Black. I'll likely include my Namiki Dragon and Cumulus with a medium nib and Pelikan Black later today, too.

For the first time in a while, today I inked my Aurora 88 (modern). I used R&K Verdigris, which I recently received and wanted to try in this pen, with has a customized medium cursive italic nib. I've noted that the look of Verdigris depends very much on the pen, and this is a wonderful combination.

Today it was (its night time in The Land Down Under) :

1.my favourite 1946 '51',black and silver,medium wet line ;and

2.the cool PFM V .

Tomorrow I am thinking a little Post War Sheaffer Tuckaway in baby blue with a shiny wavy gold cap and the little July 1976 date marked Pilot "Myu" , still with his little price sticker (Thanks again to Russ S in Tokyo). Both small enough to slip in a pocket.
