I currently have 2 fountain pens.

Baoer 3013 my current "active duty" pen. It has a metallic green and black swirl on the barrel. Very smooth writer, no problems with ink flow as long as I keep a fresh cartridge in it. I do alot of writing so I go through the cartridges fast.

Second pen is an unknown make and model. There are no markings anywhere on the pen other that very simple scroll work on the nib. No clue as to country of origin, but I would guess somewhere in east Asia or maybe central America. It is also a cartridge based pen, gold plated medium nib. It has a screw on cap, and overall diameter is about 3/4 that of the Baoer. It is plastic with a black cap, and a blue, brown, black pattern on the barrel probably meant to resemble shell bits or opal. This pen was never the best writer, even when new about 10 years ago. Probably to be expected given that it was only about 6.00 USD at a nearby Walmart.

Last Saturday, I found a stunning green marble Esterbrook Dollar Pen in an antique shop. I inked it up, and it writes like a dream!

For the last couple of days, I have been rediscovering a dip pen which I purchased in Venice, Italy, in 2003. I had smoothed out the nib several months ago and then put the pen on my desk and forgotten about it. Over the months, it got covered up by papers and cards and books...and then last week I remembered I had it.

I took it out and wrote with it - Smooth as butter! And thank God for a gold nib. If it was any other metal it probably would've rusted away into nothing ages ago.

I am on a weekend trip and carrying the humble Safari-red loaded with W'man Havana.

I'm jealous of 'weekend trip'....I'm stuck at home today, but just filled my LeMan 100 with M. Masuyama's ground & tuned EF nib with Dumas Tulipe Noire. Great color!

Today's pen was a Parker 75 Flighter with a broad nib loaded up with J Herbin Sapphire Blue.

Tomorrow's pen will most likely be one of my Pelikan M600s or M800's

Today's pen for letter writing was the Delta Dolce Vita piston filler with Waterman Florida Blue.

Today's pen for manuscript work was the Pilot 823 with Aurora Blue for writing and a cute little Slimfold with a fine stub nib and Herbin Rouge Bourgogne for corrections/editing.

In my journal I used my Danitrio Ban-ei with Aurora Blue.
