What Pens Are You Using Today?

Today I have on the desk at work:

Tibaldi Modello 60 with an EF nib received with joy earlier this week from a very nice FPNer

MB149 with a 1960s flexy fine nib retrofittted to a modern "rest of the pen".

Both brimming with Blue Parker Quink, my "safety" ink.

At home on the desk I have a recently received Edison Herald in Red/Black which I am really trying to love. I mean, it looks fabulous but has a bit of an unpredictable stop/start/gap writing thing going.

I have tried it for the last few nights with a variety of inks and papers and it is still playing tricks.

Today, a Hero 616, filled with a dark olive ink that I'm trying to write out and fill with something a bit brighter.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Today I used both of my Waterman Edsons: a Diamond Black with medium nib and Noodler's Ottoman Azure ink and a Sterling Silver LE with fine nib and Pelikan Koenigsblau ink.

I only have one fountain pen (right now, I sense an impending addiction however). It's a Mont Blanc Starwalker. Love it to death. I also write with a ball point, Mont Blanc Noblesse Oblige. Another nice little pen.

Already thinking about another one though, especially since I've been writing a lot more recently.

Today will be an OS Sheaffer Balance lf in Black w/M nib filled with my utility blue - an unscientific mix of vintage Osmiroid Blue and Scrip Peacock Blue. And a Parker "51" Aerometric, gf converging lines cap and forest green barrel w/M nib filled with Pelikan Brilliant Black.

May we live, not by our fears but by our hopes; not by our words but by our deeds; not by our disappointments but by our dreams.

Nakaya Red Urushi with flex medium and English Grey P51 which writes a pretty wet medium. I know it's a strange combination but it seems to be working.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
