I have had a ball this afternoon using my Lamy 2000 with the new FPN Tulipe Noire ink working crosswords. No problems with feathering and very little bleed through even on newsprint!

I have to admire ANY fountain pen that doesn't feather and bleed on newsprint, even my finest nib (and I LOVE fine nibs) won't go across newspaper without doing something horrible.

Most of my pens write pretty well on newsprint.

Sailor Sapporo running Sailor Blue and a Platinum Preppy converted into an eyedropper by Nathan and running Noodlers Polar Blue. Of course the Platinum is not as smooth as the Sailor but hey it came with the ink

Got my first M800! It's a blue striped 805 indeed. Broad nib. Loaded with Lamy Black. To be decided if I prefer it over my M400s...
