GoodDog - doesn't look THAT old-fashioned!

Breaking in my 'new' Mentmore Diploma.

It's not - it's a modern knock-off, I'm sure. That's just what the tag at the flea market called it (apparently, the booth owner didn't know what it was).

My circa-1993 or '94 medium-nib Shaeffer. One of my real "standbys," and always a pleasure to use.

I have had a ball this afternoon using my Lamy 2000 with the new FPN Tulipe Noire ink working crosswords. No problems with feathering and very little bleed through even on newsprint!

I have to admire ANY fountain pen that doesn't feather and bleed on newsprint, even my finest nib (and I LOVE fine nibs) won't go across newspaper without doing something horrible.

Today...

Campo Marzio Minny.

Parker Duofold senior-size Red.

Most of my pens write pretty well on newsprint.

Today...

Parker 51 Special (Black, 1951). Fine nib with Noodler's Blue Black.

Parker Vacumatic Standard (Green, 1945). Fine nib with Noodler's Squeteague.

I think I am in a rotation rut.

Sailor Sapporo running Sailor Blue and a Platinum Preppy converted into an eyedropper by Nathan and running Noodlers Polar Blue. Of course the Platinum is not as smooth as the Sailor but hey it came with the ink :bunny01:

Got my first M800! It's a blue striped 805 indeed. Broad nib. Loaded with Lamy Black. To be decided if I prefer it over my M400s...

Today I'm mostly using my Burgundy Duofold with blue-black Quink, and a Frontier SS GT with royal blue Quink.

I've done many things I'm not proud of, and those that I am proud of are disgusting.
