Rare day today: I've only used one pen all day, a newly arrived Lamy 2000 with an EF nib and loaded up with Lamy Turquoise.

Hi,

Off work until the New Year now, so just pens for home, intend to ink up and use a few that over the next 7 days.

At the moment looks mainly vintage:-

Pelikan 400NN (Black Stripe) - Diamine Indigo

Conway Stewart 28 (Black) - Conway Stewart Black

Parker 51 Vac (Teal) - Diamine Sapphire Blue

Sheaffer Tucky (Brown Stripe) - Waterman Blue-Black

and one non vintage Retro 51 Scriptmaster II (Tortoise) - Diamine Imperial Blue.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. :)

Dated my journal with a vintage Sheaffer my late Mother in Law gave me. Uses a US made Italic F nib. I added the converter and load it with Waterman Black.

I have written in my journal using several pens today.

Blood Pressure readings using a Blue Lamy Safari, M nib loaded with PR Burgundy ink. Also a Black Lamy Safari, F nib loaded with PR Sherwood Green.

Most writing today with my new Dupont Olympio loaded with Dupont Night Blue.

Most of my "at work" writing is done with a Lamy Palladium Studio, F nib loaded with Mont Blanc Blue Black ink.

I sign my papers with a Lamy Palladium Studio, M nib loaded with Mont Blanc Blue ink.

You think that I may like Lamy pens?

So far today it's been:

1) A blue marbled Bexley/Molteni Heritage (button filler based on the design of the 2006 Owners' Club pen), fine nib, filled with Diamine Royal Blue.

2) A Wahl-Eversharp lever-fill Doric in Garnet Shell filled with Diamine Woodland Green. Oh, did I mention the medium nib is wonderfully flexible? :)

A Waterman Expert (old style, not type II). This pen has become my daily user. It writes as good as my $400.00 pens: very smooth and not failure to start ever. I paid $40 for it new on the Bay and don't have to worry about misplacing it somewhere.

Today, Christmas Day, on vacation, I take four pens with me on the flight. Today, I have used my trusty Targa, with a converter, a Targa with a cartridge, no problem with a cartridge compressing in an airplane as a converter can do, and an oversized Bexley a tenth anniversary issue, with a converter. All with Black Ink

The wife has brought her Christmas Pen, A Sheaffer Holly, with a converter, and DC Private Reserve Blue ink that we re-fill the converter with.

Pelikan M405 with Waterman marine blue ink. I didn't want to risk my new Saturno around the nephews.
