What Pens Are You Using Today?

TheNobleSavage

Recommended Posts

1. 'Matte Black' Parker Arrow, with Parker Penman Ruby ink, F nib. I used to dislike the Ruby ink, but now of course I love it. :(

2. 'White Honey' Pelikan M400, with J Herbin Vert Olive ink, EF nib.

The Arrow is a student pen, and a tad slim for my liking, but it has one great nib. :)

Black Parker 51 Aero with Quink Blue-Black...

What do you guys DO with all of those pens??? I mean, I might be able to justify two a day, since I do occasionally carry one that's a good writer, and one with a good flex for the signature...but that's about it...I'd love to hear what you guys use them all for.

Two Cheapies! Always cheapies. I hate the thought of losing a good one. I have had a beautiful green snakeskin Monogram lever filler in my pocket for two months. I love the way it writes but it drops ink. I have hopes that I solved the problem today with a new feed. I have also started carrying a Wearever bullet pen. Gets lots of comments and writes like a dream with a great bold script! Tackyrama

Today's pens are a burgundy Sheaffer TD Imperial, medium nib, Waterman Florida Blue, a cordovan brown vac 51 with the same, and a first year burgundy Sheaffer Snorkel Sentinel with, you guessed it, the same. Not planned to all have WM FB - just worked out that way.

Just 1 pen on this Monday:

Danitrio Densho in raw Ebonite with a really nice M flex nib. It's filled with Waterman Florids Blue ink.

With that monster in my pocket, who needs another pen? Besides, would another pen even fit?

Today is the same as every day this week...

Danitrio Raw Ebonite Densho with a medium flex nib, filled with Waterman Florida Blue.

I do have a Waterman's HYP here with me, but it has issues with the lever assembly and pressure bar and isn't usable until repaired.

Breastfeeding is the only 'natural user inteface'.

I am using my new Namiki Carbonesque Blue Vanishing Point. It is filled with a blue cartridge that came with the pen. I couldn't wait to go home and fill it with Noodlers, so I am using a cartridge for the first time.

The big heavy Waterman I got for graduation (no idea what it is) loaded with Mont Blanc "Je t'aime" scented red ink; lovely Parker 51 with Noodler's black.

Isn't sanity really a one-trick pony, anyway? I mean, all you get is one trick, rational thinking! But when you're good and crazy . . . ooh hoo hoo hoo! . . . the sky's the limit!
