Hello All,

On the Road : Sheaffer Prelude with fine nib

In the office : Sheaffer Balance II with a fine bicolour feathertouch nib for writing / Pelikan M200 with EF nib for corrections.

At home : Conway-Stewart 75 black with fine nib / Conway-Stewart 86 blue marble with medium nib.

I am left handed, write very small and really like the smoothness of these old nibs.

I'm practising spencerian penmanship. I'm a beginner. Today I tried a few penholders and nibs with different results. Finally I realised that the easier way to study this handwriting style to use a needle point.

So today I'm using an Xtra 894 needle point 0.3 (Shneider Germany). The only problem that this kind of writing instrument is very useful and you can make lines very similar like a fountain pen but without the feeling or a style of a fountain pen (even the cheapest version of a FP).

The development of my writing style is more important, so when I'm practising i think I will use this needle point and other cases my fountan pens and penholders etc. I hope the time is coming when I can use my new style easily with a fountain pen or a penholder with a good nib but for practising this writing instrument is the first step.

This evening and tomorrow (and many more tomorrows) I will be using my new old model Pelikan 800 in black. Great pen. Ink is currently Galileo Manuscript Brown. Great ink.

Hello, everyone! It's 75F and looks like we are going get another batch of storms.

The same two...my Sailor and Kaweco on my Moleskine pocket daily organizer. I like the sizes of these pens

Hello everyone,

Today it's a Waterman Phileas with a medium nib which I just purchased yesterday. Wow, I'm surprised at how broad this medium nib is. A little broader than I am used to but a smooth writer.

Also carrying with me my trusty old Sheaffer No Nonsense, dark green with medium nib.

My Aurora Ipsilon, M nib is inked and on standby on my desk.

Circumstances bumped my Sunday afternoon flush 'n' fill to Monday evening. That's the way it goes, sometimes. So the new set is all pistons and PR blues!

Stipula Etruria Nuda, 0.9 stub, PR DC Supershow Blue

Lamy 2000, M, PR Sonic Blue

Pelikan M405, Binder Italifine 0.9CI/F, PR Black Magic Blue

To think I'm the guy that used to hate blue ink...! These are all inks that benefit from being in these nice wet writers. Presence.

I have too many pens inked, so I'm trying to write a few of them dry. Today I'll be using:

Red herringbone Conway Stewart Shorthand with medium nib and Waterman Blue-Black and

Green Esterbrook J with a 2668 nib and Diamine Prussian Blue.

Other pens along for the ride:

Pilot Vanishing Point with fine nib and Namiki Blue-Black cartridge,

Brown Waterman Ink-Vue with fine nib and Aurora Blue, and

Green-stripe Pelikan 400NN with medium nib and Aurora Black.

I have too many pens inked this week, so I think I will be using most of my Pelikans this week:

the 140 black with FPN GMB,

the transparent red 200 with Fox Red,

the 400 with Noodler’s Black,

and the 800 with FPN GMB.

Got to empty and clean the Sheaffer OS black, the Esterbrook Dollar Pen, the black Vac, the Waterman 100 Year red transparent, the Inkograph.

But I think I will keep the Laughlin inked for fun at home, it is loaded with Noodler’s Blue. I am really getting to like this pen.
