Prera +1

It is rather cheap but a great quality itself. I recently shoot some photos of my ivory prera and made review if you want to check http://goo.gl/6hI2N

Here's one not mentioned yet: The Krone Autograph (aka Knowledge) in Parchment. It's a piston-filled celluloid pen with a nice smooth 18K nib. The furniture is sterling silver.

The photo is borrowed from Penporium (in which I have no stake, financial or otherwise).

Can I lower the tone horrendously and mention that you can get the Jinhao 750 in white?

Actually I ordered that pen a few days ago.

Another pen that doesn't hurt ones wallet: the Kaigelu 316

I have the white-marbled version, a pretty pen and a decent, but not my best, writer.

I think that Jinho is very clean and good looking pen. I have been thinking about one.

Do not let old pens lay around in a drawer, get them working and give them to a new fountain pen user.

It's a pretty good pen, plenaar. Well worth six quid or whatever. Mine has a very nice nib, and is lighter than most of the other posh Jinhaos I've used. The faux porcelain "three kingdoms" pen I ordered at the same time is a huge, heavy thing that gets quite uncomfortable to write with if you're doing more than scrawling your signature, but there's no such problem with this one.

I really like my Jinhao X750 ivory pen. It writes very smoothly, a bit on the wet side (but I like that), stiff nib of course. It does not look, nor feel cheap.

Recommended, considering its price (below US$10).
