You know, this is actually quite true, and not all ho ho's and ha ha's. You need to take you nibs more seriously.

 

As for Richard - I like the phrase, "crappier ones." That must be a term of art in pendom, I will incorporate it into my writing vernacular!

There's a quantity of nibs on ebay labled as "Warranted" (!) Platon Hardest Iridium in a variety of sizes. They're sourced from Japan (it says) and they have the long tines that suggest they may be flexible.

 

Has anyone tried one out?

There is some weird international law that says as long as the Company bought their 'iridium' from Germany, the can mark Iridium Point Germany, even if made in China....in the 'iridium' for making the tip came from Germany.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.

The cheapest lessons are from those who learned expensive lessons. Ignorance is best for learning expensive lessons.
