Can someone tell me how a Pelikan Demo compares to an Aurora Optima Demo? I've been torn between the tows and I chose the latter because of its design I could not resist any longer. :)

Your review is so well-balanced and thorough that it ought to be listed as a model for other reviewers. Thank you for your good and careful work.

I've not used the Optima Demo but I have an Optima and a Pelikan m800 demo. Size is nearly the same. The Pelikan is longer with cap but the cap is somewhat longer than it needs to be, if that makes sense. The Optima body has more taper along the barrel and has a different piston mechanism. I find the Optima much more attractive and, in use, much better performing and functioning. The Optima is also a bit more expensive.

Great review! It is so nice that you photographed it with ink in it. Thanks!

What else do we have in life if not to help each other?

Thanks for the review! It looks like a great pen, but with the springier nibs on the M205, I've been successfully tempted away.
