How much bigger is the medium sized compared to the standard retractible? I have an opp to buy a medium one, deciding if I should go for that or find a big size

The "Midsize" Boheme ist not bigger than the small retractable one, it's just a bit longer. The fp has the same size as the rollerball.

How much longer? Does anyone have a direct side by side comparison both capped and posted?

Trying to decide between the big size or the medium

I really like the large size pen - however, as far as I know they are now impossible to buy new in the UK as they have been dis-continued, not sure if it would be the same in your place of residence. The smaller size pens are still prolifically available.

If anyone can contradict me and tell me where I can purchase 1 I'd be happy to hear from you!

I've just purchased a Boheme Platinum Big Size. It is listed in my 2006/2007 dealers catalog (Writing Instruments Collection) but is not listed in my dealers price list from 01.03.2009. So presumably it was discontinued around 2008.

For those who are looking for one, the Montblanc references are:

7491 = EF nib, 7492 = F nib, 7493 = M nib, 7494 = B nib, 7495 = BB nib, 7496 = OM nib, 7497 = OB nib, 7498 = OBB nib. All nibs are 18k and platinum-plated. The smaller Boheme platinum line model is listed as having a 14k nib and the reference starts at 6316 to finish at 6323.

Never really showed much interest in the Bohemes due to their size. The larger one would be appealing to me though.

Some lovely photos :notworthy1: I really need to buy myself a decent camera. Seeing everyone post such wonderful photos really makes me envyous.
