I'm not a tidy person but i try to appear organised so my desk always looks minimalist.....

Very nice and you've done a good job of hiding the mess, it looks so tidy. I have the same desk lamp as you do but haven't been using it since I moved house. I may have to get it out again, I think.

Thanks, I try...

As I see some people post what they do on here too. I might post a picture of my workbench and of my butterfly pinning setup later on.

While not technically my personal desk, this is a desk I visit as often as I'm able. This is my favorite place to write, in a log cabin in the woods along a river near Mt. Hood (in Oregon).

OH, yeah! I'd visit too.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

My desk serves lots of purposes like many of the others have shown here. Photography is a large part and competes for desk space with all the things of life we use desks for. I have a secondary one carved out of a shelving unit serving as my writing place. The desk blotter goes back to the early 1970's and is still one of the best surfaces I've found for writing. I'm still working on something good for pen storage, leading the short list is one of the small Bisley file cabinets where I could put in some kind of insert and could also hold writing paper, etc.

Anyhow here we are.

Retired, twice. Time to do more things, writing being one.

I had this one custom made from cherry wood last year. For some reason the year was to short to post it here.

Hi pen friends! So, this is my humble somewhat organized desk where I keep all my Fountain Pen stuff.

I just got this fake Wooton desk, and I haven't been able to find out anything about it. But I'm having fun moving into it!

Shuttlebug, that is the most amazing desk I've ever seen! You'll have fun filling all the nooks and crannies.

My biggest problem is that I really want it to look good, and right now what I have to put in the cubbies is a mish-mash of random (bleep). So now I'm looking for something like drawers or boxes for it.

At work, I have two desks, a traditional large executive desk I use primarily for phone calls, meetings and working on the computer, and a standing desk which at which I like to do all of my longhand writing. Given its purpose, the standing desk was decorated in a manner designed to inspire writing. The pens shown in this photo include a Pelikan 100, an Eboya and a Lotus Vamza. The desk set/lamp is an original 1920s Sheaffer.
