My desk at home after a good cleaning.

If you're big into Poe, there is a red ink named after him from Organics Studios. It's kind of a brick red, not an arterial red. :)

I guess it is an amontillado red.

These are wonderful, Ken; excellent as they contain all the necessary food groups, and ink :)

Yeah, I want KEN's desk!

That looks AWESOME!

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Well, I can add escritoire to the increasingly long list of words that I never ran across despite taking 4 years of French.

I love yours and betweenthens's.

Forgive me for correcting you but in french it is said un Ecritoire (no S), not Escritoire.

In portuguese it is said Escritorio - which is much more used to define the office room, with the semantic evolution.

I adore your Pasadena true joke. It is wonderful

Nothing fancy, just my grad student office. Note the pile of Rhodia pads and assorted Varsities and Safaris I have laying about (there is also a mug of Heros and my plastic pen rinsing cup with some ink samples back there! I am nicely settled in)

You can use drawers on the right side all you want.

And the cabinets on the front have enough room to store a couple of short boxes of comics.

I want Ken's desk!!! (I want the Scotch, lol...)

There is nothing messy on this forum until now.....and I make no excuses other than at the moment I'm using the kitchen table, lol!! (It's the next project on the list! We were moving.)

Some of the pens are on the right in the back..in sleeves....in a box bottom.

So, what's your point?

(Mine is a flexible F.)

My desk looks more like that than I want to admit.

I knew I liked you, lolol!

This is actually really bad. Used to be super organized with little unnecessary stuff on it, but my hubby thinks it's the "hide all the (bleep) when the family comes over" spot and then he never does anything else with it!!! :yikes:

He's messing with my juju!!

So, what's your point?

Gorgeous set up, AllenG! I think I want what's on your desk and the glimpses of what's around it even more than the desk! If it's not too impertinent to ask, what do you do (by profession, I mean)?
