Here is my desk. Life as an International Baccalaureate 10th grader:

My ink drawer. I need more ink, most of my colors are dull...

The crayons add a nice touch!

Nice combo of old and new technology.

Actually, the crayons, pencils, and the red ballpoint is my Dad's for "correcting" work

Nice blackberry Donald, is there a Pin exchange thread in the forums?

Sadly no... that would work in the chatter forum.

Newest addition to my desk is a Sheaffer Imperial desk pen, with white onyx base and brass engraved plate. Early 1960s, I'm guessing. Received from my father-in-law, as he is downsizing from independent to assisted living. Writes beautifully.

Cleaner than it's been for a while;

Finally put some ink in my new inkwell- Quink Black, my dip pen and Vacumatic ink. Mum found me a red stapler too, which was nice :P

Thank you for the kind words- the desk is old, the view usually much better (pics taken in the middle of a snow storm) and the crate is just there to keep the dogs out of it.

I had that desk when I was in college. I loved it, it was super nice, I loved the look of it. The only thing I didn't like was that you can see all the cords. For cord organization freak such as myself that was the achilles heel of it. Other than that it was awesome, tons of workspace. When I moved into an apartment by myself though I just didn't have room for it and sold it to a friend. I sort of wish I still had it now!

Agreed, I worked pretty hard at cord concealment. Its no where near perfect but better than most ;)

For example, here is the light switch to the ikea lamp...

Lots of zip ties and velcro straps...

I switched to all velcro here...

I have two desks. This is the most used one, with the computer and a dual screen set-up.

I will probably remove the laser printer as I almost never use it and.. add a third screen.

I don't write on this desk. I don't write in any desk. I require so much space when I do that I use the floor itself.

I lay all the books, papers and everything I need and I write directly on the floor, using a few pillows to set myself.
