This ink is excellent and definitely my go to ink for pretty much every pen. However, a word of warning: the ink is not very dense in any way shape or form, which is in and of itself very good, but at the same time means it can get quite messy. I have found that when my pen is filled with this ink and bouncing around in my bag, it will drip a bit into the cap. It does not happen with all my pens, but just a word of caution to ensure that when travelling with an Herbin filled pen, be sure to store it nib up and secure.
