Help to identify a Sheaffer

Bruno Taut

Recommended Posts

Although I was very fond of the Sheaffer inlaid nibs, I have not got one until last week. But being a neophyte in this brand, I do not know what model and nib type is the one i got. Could any of the gurus here help me to identify it?

It is a touch down pen, with a 14 K gold nib. The seller told me it was a model from the 70s. Could anyone confirm this? Is there any way of checking the manufacturing date?

PFM's filled with a Snorkel and Imperials were cartridge/converter.

Q: besides looking at the feed, how do you tell one from the other?

Imperials are smaller and have different finished/patterns.

Imperials also were available in Touchdown.
