Mont Blanc 149 vs Mont Blanc 146

My contribution to this older review:

As some colleagues have said, the 146 is nice, but not convincingly better than any of its competitors, while the 149 is almost a class on its own. The 146 looks big when compared to many other pens, like most Sheaffers, Parkers, etc., but next to the 149 it looks tiny, not much bigger than the 144.

But all in all the 146 is a great pen, highly recommendable IMO.

The 149 is a must for every FP enthusiast; again IMO.

Stop that! You are making me want to get a 149 now. :P

Both 146 and 149 are equally good and comfortable. Same amount of hassel for maintenance (such as pistone lube), however.
