The Damson looks similar to an older Sheaffer Purple cartridge I just put into my Sheaffer 330. Dusky, dark, and serious purple, with no red overtones. Great!

Great ink. I found it to be only a bit darker than herbin poussiere de lune once dry. As someone already stated, it is a conservative purple.

Inked:

Pelikan m205 black 0.9ci/F Italifine (Diamine Damson);

Aurora 88 nikargenta (Iroshizuku Kon-Peki);

Pelikan 140 Steno (J Herbin Lie de Thé)
