Fluorescent yellow highlighter will also bleach out most blue fountain pen inks. I special-order non-fluorescent highlighters. At a place where I once worked, I not only bought a box of non-fluorescent blue ones for the company out of my own pocket, I also bought every fluorescent one in the place FROM the company, just to get them out of circulation.

That is ... impressive.

Or do I mean stark staring bonkers?

As an update, the latest Stipula Dark Blue (Blue della Robbia) no longer completely eradicates. It now turns green.

I write this because many people suggested this as the darkest eradicable blue on the market.
