Visconti Push-Pull Filler

Yeah, my Vac-Fil Sheaffer is one of the latter models which holds ink in a secondary barrel, not within the barrel itself. Even if I use an eyedropper to fill it, it's only 1.2 mL. No a Tuckie, just a Sheaffer Triumph, 1250 price code.

I don't doubt that a Vac-Fil can hold more than a piston filler when the most effecient implementation available is used- but the modern implementation by Visconti and Pilot don't hold all that much ink compared to other pens with their dimensions.

That said, I really don't think a Vac-Fil can beat a lever-filler as far as capacity. Maybe match it, but not surpass it. But Vac-Fillers are *way* cooler. :D

I use my Divine Proportion everyday. The push-pull-touchdown is pretty cool, but sometimes I don't think I get it as full as I could.

I have the same feeling about my DP and my Desert Springs.

Now I have had my Divine Proportion for a couple of years now. Just enjoying looking at it

Well today I decided to try a new pen in my rotation and selected this one

At first I could not get it to fill by pulling then pushing , then the it pulled out and Turing the extension if filled,

My initial thoughts of it is Wow Using Omas Ink , the label is long gone but is a great Tobacco Color

It is writing beautifully , the 14K Medium nib has nice flexiness to it I don't know how I resisted filling this pen for so long

I have the OS Version and find it quite comfortable

I see above that some of you pulled the nib and feed for cleaning, does this unit pull straight away or does it twist out.
