Like many of you, I've only just started this whole FP thing (celluloid crack as I'm starting to refer to this addiction) - My only FP at the moment is a Lamy Studio SS (EF), but I have a few coming in:

Lamy Edition 2000 SS (M)

Pelikan 805 (M, Black/Silver) - in transit to Richard

Sheaffer Legacy 2 (M-ItaliFine, Platinum/Black) - in transit from PenHero.com via New Hampshire

Can't wait to get my grubby paws on my pens! I have a new camera coming in as well so I'll be able to get some decent pictures for the reviews.

Geaux Tigers! Visça el Barça!

WTB: MB Kafka, Lamy Safari 2009 Orange, Pilot MYU (Black or Clear/White Stripe), Seiko FrankenTuna SKZ253 / SKZ255

My God, all these newcomers are making me feel like I've been in this fountain pen business longer than I really have!

I have 30+ at the moment, though most of them are old Sheaffers that are on the bench. My favs: a Pelikan red M800 and a black aero Parker 51 with an unheard of factory BB nib. Good stuff.

I'll be purging soon; I've got some big pens in my crosshairs.

I like this poll. So, Can I keep entering until I have the number of pens I own? ;) Maybe if I put 15 my wife will believe me? :)

Count me in for 15+ :D

Best-

Brian

They're all loved, of course. Besides, that list is a little outdated. Let's just say it's increased a good 20%. :D

I have four.. in order of how much I've used each:

Parker 51 desk set (used most)

Campo Marzio (I'm not using this one much anymore, but is still second) I hate it with a passion. Ink starvation. My flashiest pen.

Sheaffer (cheap calligraphy set, few years back - just rediscovered it)

Papermate.

Wow, I'm down to 10 right now. I wasn't expecting that. I went to the database (yes, I have a database, don't you?) and counted and that was all that I still have. A couple of unfortunate losses recently and some eBay sales and a trade and that's all I've got left. Good thing there's something coming in the mail :)

Well, .... I'm closer to 200 than 100 and I don't know exactly how much. I don't want to take the time to count them as that would require me finding them all. I tend to have a few here and there around the house in addition to my pen cases. The other day I counted the pens within arms reach on my desk and was astounded to count 46 with at least 2/3 of them inked. Wasn't it the Hollies? Here is a quick snap of the Wearever shelf.

The large black cases on the left bottom hold about 48 pens each, but they are "overfilled with a few extras in the spaces between the rows. So they have on average 60 or so each.

The next smallest hold 30 each and are also over filled to a total of 45 or so each.

The smallest black cases have 24 overfilled to 30.

The light grey trays hold a dozen each with a couple on top of the tray also say 15-16 pens each.

Thye box is layered with 15" x 20" home made trays of cthick ardboard w/ foam paper glued down to it & elastic bands sewn through them. Each card/tray has about 50 pens per. IIRC there are 12 or 13 trays in the box.

Then there is The POS display with a hundred or so various cheapie models.

The ephemera boxes are buried in my storage closet at the moment. I need to dig it out one of these days & see what all is in there. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of boxes w/ NOS cardboard countertop displays for BP's, Pennant's and various others as well as boxes of NOS erasers, I know there are also 2 NOS dealer boxes of Deluxe 100 pencils. Then there are the couple of dozen ads & other ranmdom stuff I've picked up here & there.

Luv's me 'sum Wearevers

I've come to a decision to keep only 5 fountain pens at a time, but 5 good ones. (That Pelikan future loaded with Noodlers black that I use to sign checks doesn't count.)

For me (and my budget), that means one of each of these right now:

Sailor 1911M

Lamy 2000

Pelikan M200

Namiki VP

Parker "51" vacumatic

Pelikan Piccadilly Circus ;)
