Havana meets three blues

I've used up the (new) South Seas Blue from my pen and have run Havana Brown through behind it just now. Makes for a nice dark blue-black. I'll have to experiment with mixing these two.

I'm fascinated by this thread. So many people on FPN talk about mixing blue with black to get blue black inks, but the mixing of brown with blue seems to yield the colors that most people prefer.

Good idea, Simon. I just tried some FPN brown in some Swisher's North Sea Blue and it darkened it up into a nice blue-black. I can tell that by adding more it will head towards a plum color.

What a great idea! I love dull blues and have been trying to figure out how to get more variety. I might start mixing burgendy into these blues that I have. Thanks for posting.

Ok, so what is the approximate ratio of 4 drops to 1 cc? I am guess-timating about 10:1???
