It's a pleasure - almost ready to go, just ironing out the last wrinkles.

Warm regards, Wim

Thanks for all the effort. Much appreciated.

  • 3 months later...

it looks like diluted parker quink black...?

?

It is anything but Parker.

It is a blue ink, with grey undertones, which shades from very light blue to the deepest navy, with excellent lubrication characteristics (unlike the current Parker inks). It has a very pleasant vintage-style look.

This ink is very popular, and there are very good reasons why it is so.

Warm regards, Wim

Thanks!

Will there be another buy sometime in the future? I didn't have the cash the last time around, and wasn't around here when there were previous ones.

OK, thanks Wim! Guess I'll have to find a reasonably close match to it.

Take care.

I know from reading the older posts that the FPN inks are not currently available, and won't be for some time; but if the powers that be are keeping a tally of interested parties, please count me in for several bottles of Tulipe Noire.

(I could mix a matching shade myself, but I have a personal affinity for the bottles... ;) ).

Thank you!

(Edited to add: I'd like a couple of Galileo Brown as well--I've found the color looks fantastic when used with sanguine conte sticks for sketching)

Second for a bottle of true Starry Night and Tulipe Noire as well...

M.

Make that a third.... I'd love to get my hands on both of these.

OTOH, someone I know got a bottle of Galileo the last time the ink was available (a year or two back) but I found it to be way more red than I want in a brown ink.
