Nice ink, although I think I prefer Noodler's. Does the Diamine have any water resistance?

Thirty seconds under running water erased the above sheet pretty much completely.

I bought this ink wanting to finally have a brown ink in my line up and thinking it looked the most promising of Diamine's brown ink at the time, this was before the introduction of saddle brown, burnt sienna and such. Though it was lighter than I expected, its shading properties are outstanding down to fine point nibs, in a 9450 Eesterbrook extra fine nib the color becomes a darker brown. This ink reminds me of coffee, though a much more beautiful color than if you happened to dump coffee on the table. This ink has become one of my favorites. I find it to be a very readable ink, and though compared to Noodler's water resistance doesn't exist, it's fading qualities seem to be adequate having let a paragraph of writing in Golden brown lay against my window for a month without decease in color intensity.

FP Ink Orphanage-Is an ink not working with your pens, not the color you're looking for, is never to see the light of day again?!! If this is you, and the ink is in fine condition otherwise, don't dump it down the sink, or throw it into the trash, send it to me (payment can be negotiated), and I will provide it a nice safe home with love, and a decent meal of paper! Please PM me!For Sale: TBA

And how can this be, because he is the Kwisatz Haderach.

I just licked a finger and dragged it across a line I'd written last night. I wish I hadn't: I now have a black finger and the page doesn't look too well, either. I noticed in a meeting the other night, too, while illuminating the margin of a page with an unflattering likeness of the chairman, that lines I had written half an hour before were becoming distinctly grubby as the ball of my writing hand rubbed over them. The consequences of sin: my hand got blackballed. I left early.

When you're good at it, it's really miserable.

I just recently got my first bottle of Diamine Golden Brown; the color is really nice fitting the category of khaki colored inks (e.g. De Atramentis Khaki).

Thanks for the nice scan which looks pretty accurate on my computer.

Cheers

Michael
