Does it matter what sutra you use if you're trying to keep ghosts away from your pens?

Am I just blinded by the light, or is there no price posted? I've been looking for an affordable Hannya pen and I don't know if these are within my saved up pennies or not...

From what I see at shows and on the 'Bay the Pilot models go for between $600 and $1000, the Sailor models start at $600, and the kamakura pens model at about $200-$250. The caveat is, of curse, if you can find them. The Sailor polished Hannya Sutra pen is the rarest of all and I hesitate to provide a cost. though it should be in the $1000 range.

These are just so beautiful. And such a wonderful idea to begin with. One of the pens that drew me towards fountain pens in the first place. I hate that I'll probably never have one. Have literally dreamt, twice, about stumbling across one at a flea market for a couple thousand yen. Unlikely.

These pictures were missing from previous posts. The first three are brushed finish and the second is polished. The Pilot pens n the third picture are provided for comparison. Sorry for this size. It is a big file.
