Hi,

After so many time, I've received yesterday my sailor with CCE nib.

@Shinichiro, it's a funny nib and I understand that you like it so munch.

Sailor's special nibs are great.

Now I have a professional gear rodhium trim with a H-F nib, a ribbed 1911 with a naginata togi nib and the large 1911 with CCE nib.

Hi all,

I've been using a Sailor Professional Gear with the 21k Fine nib for a while now, and thinking whether I should get the Cross Concord as my next purchase, but I have some questions to answer before making the purchase. I'm pretty new to fountain pens, so appreciate any help from you all.

First, Sailor's website describes the Concord to produce "Fine writing strokes in normal use" which gives me the impression it would give me the same Fine lines as the 21k Fine nib, which I totally love. But this thread says that it's comparable to a Western M nib. So which is which? Been searching for side-by-side handwriting comparison but no success so far.

Second, between Cross Concord and Cross Concord Emperor, will there be any difference in terms of writing experience (wetness, thickness of lines)?

Thanks again!
