For what pen(s) are you waiting, in the mail? And are you waiting patiently lol....

I'm waiting for my Nakaya Ascending Dragon to come back from Japan after some modification of the grip area that initially came without urushi on it..expecting that to take months, though. The initial order took 5 months to get here.

 

Also looking forward to the Ohio Pen Show in Columbus Nov. 6-8. I want to meet several folks I've bought pens from in the past year and am getting too excited about a 1999 Parker Snake pen and a current Bexley Dragon to go with my Nakaya Dragon....scared, but I'm still going!

 

How come I can't put emoticons in when others are doing it - drat!

I have a friend in the USA this week, so I leveraged his trip by forcing him to get a couple of Sheaffer's I purchased on the bay and here.

Old Sheaffer's are hard to get in Europe and the shipping from US is always lengthy and risky.

 

So that's not "waiting in the mail" but next week I'll get:

- BHR Ring top 14kt band

- BHR 22 Special

Just received my Taccia Hidden Treasures LE FP. It's beautiful and writes like a dream.

After swearing off new pens (and undergoing a taste revolution) I ordered a black Waterman Phileas with a fine nib.

 

Now I have my eye on a Namiki Falcon with the M nib (and who knows, maybe, eventually, a Sailor 1911 with either a Music or Zoom).

 

Rawr! Today marks the second week since ordering my 10-pack of Hero 616's on Ebay. I've been (im)patiently waiting... I hope it comes today (have classes until evening today...). I can't wait any longerrrr!

Moo, if those are the real thing you will love them. Of all my cheaper pens (and I have a million), the ones I still like best are the Hero 616 and 366 -- and the Pilot Petit 1.

A Parker 75 Cisele (my first 75) with a medium nib, from Richard Binder. Depending on how wide a medium it is I may be forced to swap it for a fine stub...

 

According to the USPS tracking website it left the US on Thursday evening... but it says nothing about it arriving in the UK yet! Hope it hurries up, else it'll get caught in the Royal Mail strikes likely to happen next week.

 

BTW, the ink intended for it (a bottle of Diamine Midnight) arrived this morning!

I'm waiting for a beautiful Mediterranean Blue Montegrappa Emblema with an EF nib that I was able to get an amazing deal on at the New York City Pen Show! Had to special order it since the seller did not have an EF nib at the show, but it went out in the mail yesterday...*jumping for joy*

I’m waiting for the delivery of most of my pens and ink, from which I’ve been separated bymy intercontinental relocation this summer. I brought along a dozen pens, and I’ve picked up some ink at the Glasgow Pen Shop, but the full congregation arrives this morning (unless the shippers were misleading me). I’ll see my father’s MB 149, all my Esties, my Parker 21s and 45s, my No Nonsense Pens, and various other old friends for the first time in months -- plus, they’re already paid for!
