You are correct as this madness needs to end! I just finished bidding on a pen on the 'bay but the seller would not take my offer so..... But I do have a Delta Dolce Vita Oversize ordered with a medium nib! I have been waiting for my family to give it to me as a gift but they never got the hint so I treated myself!

After much research and hemming and hawing, finally ordered the Pilot 78G with a B nib. Excited about getting an stub/italic. Nervous about how it will write "out of the box." Ordered some Aurora Black ink to go with it. (Inspired by the discussion recommending Doctor Ink, but couldn't find it anywhere.)

 

Time to de-ink my P51 and P100. Lamy's (1.1 italic and EF) will remain with Noodler's Blue-Black.

I have the 78G with a B stub---niiice pen for the moneys.

 

But now I've gone and done it. I ordered a Pilot Prera in ivory (beauuutyful color) and a black Pilot Lucina (again because of its B nib.

 

And I was just complaining about too many inked pens.

EDIT; Outbid, and I suppose for the better... I bought some stuff for my other expensive hobby (cycling) yesterday, so I doubt I'd have been able to afford it without dipping into my savings... I'm not meant to be doing that

I bought a Lamy Vista on Friday. Liked it so much I ordered two Safaris (EF) in Red and Charcoal so I wouldn't have to change inks so often. Also ordered a Joy (1.1mm) to practice handwriting. And of course converters for both.
