The Kyoto nib is the same as the other True Writers. I love the Kyoto! I now have 2 TW's - Starry Night was my first purchase from Levenger.

Just arrived about an hour ago. Very nice. Writes smoother than the T.W. Demo i have. I got the fine nib and it really is a fine line. But smooth. Loaded it with Noodler's Beaver and it took it well. May become my go-to for non-FP friendly paper. Have to reserve judgement until I see if it responds after sitting for a while without being used.

I have a Metalist in M that I also got on sale. A lot heavier than the Kyoto. I odn't use it posted because of that. Not a biggie though. The M nib is a big difference,at least to me. I loaded it with Noodler's Blue and it really writes wet. I jsut ahve to remember to let the ink dry a little longer before I handle anything that i have written.

Guider Mani ed. Today my ink and pressure bar arrived in the mail so I finally got my third Duofold back together again.

I'd rather spend my money on pens instead of shoes and handbags.

Just fired off an email asking about a Parker 61 Red Rage set I've had my eye on at Melbourne Vintage Pens.

Hoping to hear about it tomorrow and get it all settled ASAP!

At least three:

  • Two Esterbrooks (Red pearl with 1550 nib & a green 'J' with a 9668 nib) off Fleabay.
  • A Lamy 2000 with EF nib courtesy of FPN (User: 'along').

Hey, I've worked out how to set up an avatar! Next week I'll move onto tying my own shoelaces...

Other than my Platinum multipen, I'm happy to report that I will be waiting for my fixed Parker 51 in the mail.

Now if only I knew the exact status of my Sailor Sapporo that I sent overseas for service
