That's an obvious mismatched cap and barrel, but a 9128 in good condition is worth what you paid, and you can probably find a matching cap for the pen (or vice versa) without too much difficulty.

 

Me? I'm genuinely waiting on the Sheaffer Imperial -- payment sent today, should ship tomorrow, and then it's up to USPS.
