My Conklin Antique, black/silver with a fine steel nib arrived on Wednesday and now it's my favorite pen even if it has just a slight bit thicker line than I was looking for. Love the big nib and the nice wet line. The size is perfect for my hand. The look is elegant without being overly flashy. I really like the colors in my Libelle Autumn Leaves but it has proved distracting to others in meetings. The Autumn Leaves was called "a fancy pen" while the Conklin get's a "nice pen" comment. The "fancy pen" has a bit of derision to the comment while the "nice pen" is generally said with admiration.

Well,

I'm not waiting on anything real classy like some of you, but I got 2 Pilot Penmanships on the way, 1 clear, 1 black. Also 1 clear Kaweco Sport Classic, and two Pilot Petit1s(brown, and pink). All destined for eye dropper conversions except one of the Penmanships that gets a con-50 converter.

As of just this morning, I ordered and am now waiting on, a Charcoal colored Lamy Safari <EF> foutain pen. I couldn't decide between the Charcoal and the Red so I just did a blind click on the computer screen and ended up with Charcoal. Despite the fact that Lamy's write quite wide, I've kinda developed a taste for wetter writers, so I thought a Safari would be a nice intro pen. Plus, I thought I could use a "knock around" pen in my current rotation, and I heard there's nothing like the ABS plastic body of the Safari!
