What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

A pen is apparently waiting for me! A delivery attempt was made yesterday while I was out, busy being a famous movie star, err, I mean . . . I have no idea what I mean. It's early, and I'm rambling from excitement. I shall be picking up the new-to-me Stipula Nettuno Idra LE later this morning! Weee! http://www.sherv.net/cm/emo/dancing/egyptian.gif

A big thank you to Bryant for making sure the pen arrived timely and safely!

Talking about fountain pens is like dancing about architecture.

I am excitedly awaiting the arrival of a pen I have been hunting for for ages... a pearl white Lamy Studio with M gold nib :notworthy1:

I won it today on ebay for just a bit over 26 EUR... did I mention how excited I am about this???

Arrgghhh, I should probably stop now that I have more fountain pens than days in the week (well, that is not counting the 3 disposable or cheapies)!

Number 8 is a black Sheaffer Balance II, F and it is on its way from Singapore to California. Probably 2 more weeks to get here. My first Sheaffer since elementary school in the late 50's/early 60's......

My very first fountain pen :meow: It is a bright yellow Lamy Safari with extra fine nib, which is probably a predictable choice for a first pen. I also got black and purple Noodler's ink. I think this is the start of something good.

I'm waiting for a pelikan 625 in the lovely eggplant colour. I have been looking for one for some time at a reasonable price and our Jean Elie had just what I wanted!

A Pilot/Namiki Vanishing Point/Capless with a Fine nib. Since I got it from isellpens, I get two free bottles of Noodler's or Private Reserve ink, so I got Noodler's Green Marine and Red-Black.

Varuna Vishal in black Ebonite with the mature Bakul finish and a fine italic nib. I blame the Fountain Pen Network!

Well, that is a busy summer. Trying to make order on what I am currently waiting (in order of shipment):

  • Pelikan M400 OS bluestripe from US
  • Sheaffer's 5-30 from US
  • Eversharp Skyline Presentation brown from UK
  • Eversharp Skyline blue from US
  • Sheaffer's Balance OS Black and Pearl from US

Now it's time to wait, I guess :)

After a 10 days away from home today I was back and I found 4! registered postal cards in the mail. I went to the postal office and all of the above, except the Balance was there! What a great day! Yay!
