Sheaffer OS Balance Vac filler in Brown celluloid - the days will be long until it arrives.

The pen arrived yesterday, that's the good news. The bad news is that I'm two hours away from it and won't be home until a week from Tuesday :(

Perhaps I can convince my wife to bring the pen with her when we meet at our daughter's home in Kansas City on Wednesday

I'll pack a bottle of ink to make the trip and I can give the Balance a test drive in KC. I like it when a plan comes together.

May we live, not by our fears but by our hopes; not by our words but by our deeds; not by our disappointments but by our dreams.

A green striated Esterbrook (I think it's a J) -- my first vintage pen, and soon to be my first repair job; my first lever filler in over thirty years. :clap1:

Does not always write loving messages.

Does not always foot up columns correctly.

Does not always sign big checks.

A Levenger Decathlon for $25.95 shipped! A couple of Jinhaos, a couple of Vacs and a 51 vac set. I have been on a buying spree, mostly acquiring pens to resell. The Decathlon is personal stock.
