A 10 pack of Hero 616's and a Sailor 1911 in red - both from ebay.

Although I've been waiting almost two weeks already for the Hero pens...

A red Sailor 1911m with fine nib. Hopefully will be received by early next week. Have a Sailor Magellan that feels very nice in the hand if not a bit short. The 1911m should be just right! ;)

I've been looking on ebay for Sailor pens, and I'm just wondering, is this where you got your pen from?

I'm new here, but that doesn't mean I can't share my happiness with you guys. I just ordered from TWD, a Lamy Joy AL set of 1.1, 1.5, and 1.9mm nibs with a Z24 converter. I did this because I gave out my Shaeffer Calligraphy set of similar nib sizes to a friend for her birthday because her fountain pen truly 'sucked'.

http://mariowolfe.blogspot.com/2009/04/shaeffer.html

I'm excited in getting these Lamy Joys, the Shaeffers were my first fountain pens and I really enjoyed them. Just look at the above link to see my writing sample if interested. I hope I won't be dissapointed by the Lamy Joy Calligraphy Pens. I'm after that Italic nib (I think italic nib means that it is flat/sharp? rather than stubbed which is rounded and cursive italic which is inbetween) so that my handwriting will have a certain flair to it. Anyway, I'll update you guys when I actually get them in the mail from the UK. Thanks TWD.

here's the link to my blog about the purchase: http://mariowolfe.blogspot.com/2009/04/bye-bye-shaeffer.html

I am waiting for my first pen, a custom tuned (fine-wet) Reform 1745 piston filler. I bought it from JJblanche who said that I WILL have it by May 1st. I am really excited for this pen!!!

I've got a pen coming from Europe (bought on Fleabay), should arrive this week.

Its a Wahl-Eversharp Gold Medal in the "rosewood" pattern (hard rubber, I think). It has a Wahl Flexible nib, and I sure hope it has some good flex to it (I like writing in Copperplate-style...).

One of the most handsome pen designs I have seen...

It will be my first Wahl pen, and I am excited!

I'm waiting for a Wality 69T, just to try out eye droppers for a change. I like the transparent barrel. That one should arrive any day now.

Also, I won an eBay auction for a Spors glass nibbed fountain pen:

(Picture is from the auction, taken by the seller)

I got it for cheap, and I was in a mood that I wanted to try out a glass nib pen so I had to bid on it. (Also it's a nice curiosity). My first crescent filler, and the material is definitely one of the most colorful I have ever seen on pens vintage and new. Wouldn't say it is a classy looking pen, but it has it's charm. This one was shipped yesterday, so I hope it arrives sometime next week, and I hope the glass nib is in decent shape.

When I get the pens I'll try to write a review on them.

Greetings,

Kay

Hi all,

Just sharing as I'mm basking in the glow of a new purchases - that I haven't received yet. I just ordered a Stipula Vedo to add to my modest collection and some ink - Noodlers HoD, Visconti Blue, Diamine Sapphire and a back up bottle of Waterman Florida Blue. I'cve also ordered a new moleskine. And this is now the problem - I've ordered from one seller in the UK and another in the US (I live in Australia) and whilst I know I have to wait it just can't come fast enough.

Sooooo, any of you out there made an order which you're still waiting on and excited to receive?

I just responded to another thread where I commented that my first ever decent FP was a Parker "51" with an lovely accountant nib, ironically 51-years ago. The pen I am awaiting now is a Parker "51" with a M nib. This one will be my 37th Parker "51," I think. What can I say? I like "51's." :cloud9: :bunny01: :bunny01: :cloud9:

Hate to revive my old thread but the pen bug has got me bad. Since posting this I'm still waiting on my deliveries but I've now added to it by ordering some more noodlers ink and a LAmy Safari. I saw on the reviews that this was cheap and dependable and a pen that can be abused and lost which is handy for me as I take my pens to Court all the time.

Anyway, more to wait for but now can I control myself and stop ordering long enough for my new stuff to arrive.........

Lots of wants, limited funds!

I didn't see this thread before starting mine....

Through powerful and arcane magic, your earlier thread has now been merged into this main one...
