I couldn't stop myself - I just ordered the Lucky 13 pen envelope from Franklin-Christoph (http://www.franklin-christoph.com/PageOne.html). Like I need another pen case, I know -but I didn't have one that holds more than five pens (until now!).

And by Reading this I just ordered one as well. sigh. I should really stop reading these forums.

Help? Why am I buying so many fountain pens?

Not waiting for the mail but the next pen club meeting where I am hoping I will be picking up a Duofold Junior circa 1929 and maybe one other yet to be decided upon, roll on the 16th!

All the best.

Ian

Sad, isn't it? I just had to push myself away from the Pelikan forum lest I start looking for pens to fill up my new envelope! I should have that envelope in hand y the end of the week. On a related note, I just received the P51 I mentioned earlier in this thread; immediately filled her up with one of the R&K greens. She has a sweet, fine nib and I am going to enjoy breaking it in! Thanks to Joel at InkPen!

I am waiting my long overdue Namiki Yukari Sakura which has been detained at customs *shakes fist*

Interestingly, this is the first pen I've bought that has been carded at customs and I'm confused as to how the process works. Huh, I guess I'll find out soon! Can't wait to get it though...

:crybaby:

So it's on its way now but that's AFTER customs slapped it with a 15% taxes and duties + 0.92% surcharge and $50 processing fee. Ouch, with all of that added up together, this Yukari is the most expensive pen I will own.

ETA is either tomorrow or Thursday, right in time for Easter.

Lamy Safari-Charcoal-fine nib

Not nearly as extravagant as the others, but the first in what may indeed become the addiction I am reading so much about.

Still no sign of this P51 I'm waiting on.

(I've also just won an auction for a vintage Wahl Eversharp propelling pencil, but that isn't a pen.)

Some Aurora Optima Calligraphy pens are being held hostage at customs. waiting for confirmation of the ransom notes I filled out and returned. Then my pens may be released.

Two Esties: a repaired Marbled Red SJ with a "Student" nib (#1551) & a Black (older J?) with a firm XF 9xxx nib and a new sac  . Hope they don't get caught in customs!

rOtring 600 FP (Black, B nib, old style). This will be my second old style 600 with a B nib so I was wondering if it would be a good candidate for my first customized nib... :) Would love to have one as an autograph pen with a nib that would allow some line variation.
