This time I'm waiting for a blue Lamy Studio with fine nib. B)

The blue Lamy has arrived, and it's wonderful!

So, now I'm waiting for one of the last(?) Lime Safaris. :P

A black Esterbrook with a 2668 nib (and a surprise) is on it's way to me now. I traded it for two Gillette Slim Adjustable safety razors from the mid-60s.

A batch of ten rOtring Art Pens (eight black and two blue barrels, nibs 1xF, 5x1.1 and 4x1.5). All in all it seems I made a pretty good deal, I paid about the same for the lot (including shipping) as one pen costs here in Finland.

Now I just need to wait for the pens to arrive. I will also need to buy a bunch of converters and some ink so I get to make a few of my friends happy. Especially one of my best friends, he really is wicked with a fountain pen.. I once lent him my rOtring 600 EF and he sketched away this incredible drawing just like that. His control over the line width and variance etc. was just mindboggling. He also fell in love with how the fountain pen felt and worked. He had never tried one before and he was really pleased with what he could achieve with it. So now I am going to get him a set to start with and see where it goes from there. I hate wasted talent and the prospect of me helping him utilize his and create more art thrills me quite a bit. :)

I am waiting my long overdue Namiki Yukari Sakura which has been detained at customs *shakes fist*

Interestingly, this is the first pen I've bought that has been carded at customs and I'm confused as to how the process works. Huh, I guess I'll find out soon! Can't wait to get it though...

In rotation:

Pelikan M400 with Pilot Iroshizuku Momiji

Nakaya Kuro-tame Desk Pen with Platinum Blue

Visconti Van Gogh Maxi with Aurora Black

Still waiting for my Edison. Can't we move Ohio a little closer to California? (It has shipped, just not here yet.)

My Montegrappa Mia is in the mail returning from "Mike at Work". It's heart has recovered from my abuse and now await its long journey home. Gee, I wonder if you guys have ever missed a pen like I've missed not having this one around??

Thanks

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my first "vintage" pen, and my first e-bay gamble, an Esterbrook J in copper. I have no idea what the condition will be like and I find the mystery thrilling! The low price of said gamble makes the mystery a lot more bearable too!

I bought a $10 pen, because I kept losing $1 ones and I got sick of not caring.

Just won an EBay auction of a Mont Blanc #12 Meisterstruck Piston Filled 1960s Medium 18K gold nib., that I have wanted since the 60s but never got. So it is on it's way from a collection in Germany. It was mailed Monday. Also am waiting for a vintage Waterman, expected anytime.

Waiting for a P51 from the 1970s, coming back from Joel at InkPen with a new nib and all cleaned up. Bought it 1.5 years ago on eBay, and it has been sitting around in a shop almost ever since with a broken nib. I finally retrieved it, sent it to Joel, and it is on its way home two weeks later. In its honor I think I will switch all my user pens over to my vintage ones for the next month (instead of the modern ones I am using now).

I couldn't stop myself - I just ordered the Lucky 13 pen envelope from Franklin-Christoph (http://www.franklin-christoph.com/PageOne.html). Like I need another pen case, I know -but I didn't have one that holds more than five pens (until now!).
