What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

I am waiting for a Parker Sonnet that is part of a trade with one of my graduate school profs! (Who I said should join this network!) I traded him a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck for the Sonnet and a couple other pens. And no, I'm not waiting patiently...trying to, though, so I think I should get points for that! ;-)

Yes you get points for trying, even a gold star (hmm that's a good name for an FP...)

Waiting for a great Diamond Point flexy from Artaddict, and a full size 1911 from Engeika. Postman tried to deliver the latter yesterday, but only pushed the inoperative doorbell button, rather than knocking. It should be here tomorrow, and I will have an "out of order, please knock" sign over the doorbell button.

I am very upset, because I am still waiting on a Touchdown desk set I bought from a member here on FPN (at a very good price). It was sent without delay, but the Post Office seems to have lost it, as the last record of it in their tracking system dates from the 2d of this month.

I know exactly how you feel, the PO lost the Sheaffer Crest set that I bought, and according to the PO was delivered on the 9th, in another part of town and they keep acting as though it is my fault that I didn't get it. I spent 3 years trying to find one like this, lucked out and now I am afraid that I will have to go through the whole thing again. The seller did everything properly, his post office did their part right, the screw up happened right here in my city.

At the moment, one of those Shule things, another Chinese pen from Hong Kong (not sure who made this one, but it looks rather smart) and a Parker 45 flighter.

Nothing too fancy, just a LAMY Safari that I ordered yesterday. I wanted to be able to review a more inexpensive fountain pen (under $50) for my site, and I figured that one is pretty popular...plus I like that I could get it in black or charcoal with a black nib too...looks pretty cool.

I just ordered my first Edison pen. It should be here tomorrow, right?

I ordered the Pearl red/black ebonite with an italic fine in the upgraded steel. Couldn't quite afford the gold nib just now, but someday.

I think you will really like it, I have the same pen but with an EF nib, here is a link to my review of it if you want something to read while you wait for it to show up. ;)

That looks like a really nice pen, thanks for sharing...and a sarcastic thanks for making me aware of yet some more pens that I want. :)
