I wrote last night that I'm waiting for five Italians to arrive from Europe.

 

Not true!

 

I remembered this morning that I'm also waiting for an Italian from Connecticut.

 

It's an Aurora 88 Duo Cart.

 

How can I forget that I've bought and paid for a pen and that I should be expecting it in the mail? I'm sure it's a sign of some sort...

I am waiting for a Montblanc Virginia Woolf fountain pen. I do not much care for limited editions (in that I am not interested in collecting them) but this one has great sentimental value for me, as Virginia Woolf is one of my very favorite writers. I had thought rather vaguely about one day owning it, but when I actually bit the bullet and ordered it I surprised myself a little. I believe it will be delivered tomorrow.

I am waiting for a Wahl ringtop GF FP and pencil set that I won on eBay. It is the first vintage pen I have ever won in auction, but I chose it only after I was able to try out another Wahl owned by a friend.

 

Am not that into bling-y pens but this one is small and pretty and a piece of history I'm proud to care for AND actually use. Am now asking another friend for help with resac-ing.

Got my Parker "51" today - F nib, steel blue, 12K GF cap. The seller (eBay) shipped it inked, though, so I got to spend my first hour or so cleaning it out.

 

Anyway, nice pen.
