What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

One of Ranga's dip pens with feeds that fit #2 nibs, should be useful for using some body-less vintage nibs I have lying around.

I wish Ranga would fit a standard sized clutch in their very nice holders so I could use the nibs I have. Last time I asked them they asked me to send them a nib for sizing. I guess they didn't understand the request properly.

Anyway, pens in the mail. Actually I am having the opposite problem. I have a couple of nice pens to give away but I cannot decide how best to go about this to ensure they get to someone who is actually going to appreciate them. Still thinking on this....

The most nervewracking pen mailing of my life is finally over -- Nakaya has received my Briar, sent in for a nib adjustment. (Too dry and a bit inconsistent, flow-wise; with a steadier, wetter nib, I might not ever put it down.) I also got my TWSBI stub back, but still have issues; I'm trying to figure out if it's me or the nib.

The Platinum 3776 Century Shoji I bought on Black Friday should be here tomorrow. The Wahl-Eversharp Skyline I got from England is in-country and I think I should see it soon.

I need more pen wraps...

Still waiting for the pump pen to show up, but I ordered my Brass Wave Liliput in bold finally, and some vintage items: a Parker Duofold, an Esterbrook in dark blue, and an extra semi-flex Parker arrow nib. I also snagged some J. Herbin Stormy Grey ink. :D

Would love to hear about the performance of the pump pen. I have been eying this for months but would not dare order due to bad rep of seller.

Sent my M1000 BB to Pendleton for a stub regrind. He said he's finished with it, so he'll mail it back to me today. Can't wait! :D

I have been waiting NINE whole days for this one from France; champing at the bit here. It's a curious Frankenpen, a French-made Stephens button-filler with a glorious Osmia Supra nib.

I'll definitely post a test page or something after it comes in. If it comes in... Still waiting. It was supposedly sent out a week ago. If it doesn't arrive in the next couple days, I'm going to have to open a dispute via PayPal before I lose the chance to get my money back. I ordered the darned thing October 31st.

The Manga G pump pens are being sold at Blue Line Pro, I discovered after making my purchase from Ackerman's site. http://www.bluelinepro.com/Merchant5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=BL&Product_Code=AR-AP-MANGAG&Category_Code=PENACK

I've never ordered from them before, and it's a little more expensive. But they seem to have good standing. I've been meaning to see if they actually have the pump pens in stock, or if they would order from Ackerman. If they have them in stock, I'd buy from them in a heartbeat. And if my pen doesn't arrive from Ackerman's... I will be.

Waiting for a Noodler's Neponset in Forbidden City acrylic. Tracking says Monday, but I think there's a chance for Saturday.

A Noodler's Neponset in Python in Pearls, and a Desiderata Sleek are both on their way to me.

I hope they can swim, 'cause it's pretty wet on the west coast right now...

The Neponset should be delivered via blimp so you should be okay.

A yellow Pilot capless( to match yellow Filofax)

A clear Tempete

And awaiting the return of the Prodigal Yard-o-led, sent for hopeful repair/replacement nib unit(a caveat emptor eBay experience) as it has a spiral crack in the unit.....

Not very patiently.

Ha! Hopefully I can hitch a ride on that air-ark to someplace drier. I'm gathering fountain pens, two by two.

Snort. Thanks to you both for making me smile :)

(Now I have images of pens, matching two by two, into the ark....and future offspring....wondering which pairings would produce the most interesting 'children'....ignore me, just being silly, but it helps take my mind off all the dark stuff...)

Got my TWSBI Mini back, and still not happy with the stub nib.

I think it's that the feed just can't keep up with the rate of ink use; I write along fine for a while and then the minor skipping starts. It's a lot better than it was; I just don't know if it'll ever be a nib for me. I'll use it for a while and see.

Got my Platinum 3776 Century Shoji yesterday and I can't put it down. On the rare occasions when I have to, it rests quite well on the Jac Zagoory Happy Buddha pen holder I just got from Massdrop.

Mmm, pen stuff.

My Wahl-Eversharp Skyline should be here any day.
