Edit: well, I just ordered a Blue Carboneque Vanishing Point with an F nib from Amazon as well for $87.50.

Emails #4 and #5 sent throughout the week to Ackerman Pens, #5 being sent today, to ask about the whereabouts of my pen. So much for it being sent out at the beginning of last week. Hmmm.. I WANT to believe it will arrive, but it's getting closer to the cut-off point for opening a PayPal dispute.

 

I think I'll be treating myself to some vintage finds soon, to make up for the frustration. >_>

My Ackerman pump pen... still waiting. I've had a Hero 616 come in from China, and I'm still waiting for Ackerman to send his pen in from within my state :/

 

I believe that the market for hybrid fountain/dip pens has not been saturated yet. Otherwise there's no way that Ackerman would still be in business... (and yes, I understand that he does it a side hobby)
