What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

Imperial Studio and lime Prera for me. And lots of ink.

And I think I'm done for now. I really can't think of a pen that I want (like absolutely want) to have.

There are a couple I would like , but they 'll have to wait for a while.

I am waiting for an 80's Pelikan M400 with a B nib to arrive from Spain.

I recently sent Danny Fudge a P51 and a Vacumatic for some fixing, so technically I'm waiting for those too! :)

I'm waiting for a black Parker 51 Special, stock alloy nib,

Bought it off of the classifieds here, so I'm certain it will be in wonderful condition.

It's my first fountain pen purchase since I joined FPN. So yeah, welcome to the dark side, I suppose.

And you know how it goes: waiting for delivery, eyeing different, interesting pieces already. Curse you, affluence.

Oh, and it's international shipping, so I'll still be waiting for -let's say- 2 weeks minimum. (The delivery times that USPS 'promises' you are poppycock (at least for my country))

A Pilot Metro with a medium nib. I have one with a fine nib but I like the results I get from disposable Pilot Varsitys with medium nibs. I hope the results are similar.

Also, for grins and giggles, I tossed out a last minute bid for a Parker 75 cicesle last night and got it for $95 including the box, papers, and nib tool. Dated 3/72.

I am waiting for three, and do not yet know which will arrive first. I suspect the first to arrive will be the Pilot/Namiki Custom Heritage 91 SF nib and silver furniture, as I ordered it from Amazon prime, which means it should arrive tomorrow. The other two are Waterman Kulturs from our own Damien, dboulonnais. My second purchase from him, of nice pens at irresistable prices. Well, actually I could have resisted, but why should I?

So much for taking a break. Picked up a two pack with an 14k quasi Imp & a Valiant Tuckaway on the bay.

  • A nice orange Jinhao
  • A Baoer 388 Blue with black stripes
  • Jinhao 5000 Dragon black and gold
  • Jinhao Century Blue Celluloid
  • Jinhao X750 Frosted Black (x3)

But I'd sure like to add a few to that list.

Add in a black Pilot E95S. My search for a Geha 725 continues, but in the meantime, damn if that Pilot isn't a fine-looking pen.

And I was beginning to think you didn't like the Custom Heritage 92. :P

Another Bayard Excelsior I just got on ebay.

Wow. That's gorgeous!

For me it's a turquoise Parker 61. I may have gotten a little over exuberant on bidding, and didn't do the best job of due diligence , but c'est la vie....

(Made up for it by sumgai-ing a pair of 51s yesterday in antiques mall because they had mismatched caps on them....)

When I first saw the Lamy Safaris, I swore they were so ugly I would never buy one. 2 Al-Stars and 2 Safaris later.... I swear, that deep purple seduced me and turned it into a fetish.

Not me. I thought about getting a pink one because it was so very very pink. But then remembered that I tried someone's Safari at a pen club meeting and that triangular section made me just crazy. Absolutely loathed it.
