Hi Armand...Majestic Blue and Midnight are both nice colours, and Midnight is one of my favourite blues. I haven't used 54th Mass, but would like to one day. Have used the Visconti though, and that's another fave.

My favourite red is Diamine Poppy.

The only eshop I know that sells Noodlers, is purepens, as 7of9 has already mentioned, and sadly they don't have the 54th.

Enjoy!

Malc

Thank you really much, so for noodler's it's ok, i think i will go with q'eternity as it seems to be a fast drying blue-black color.

There are also maybe PR fast-dry inks maybe, both are available for me as a resonable price.

I received my i717, filled with majestic and what i can say is that Majestic is a lovely color but clearly not for me, a leftie as it's too saturated i guess or with a too slow dry time. It's maybe the same with midnight, i didn't test it yet, but it's a part of game we can say.

The i717 is very smooth writing, no problems at all, it looks not woah but still nice. It's sadly i think not the best pen for me because i simply find that the nib size would me more for me a fine or EF, with my "writing style" and as a student.

So for next pens it will be in F or EF and with resonable prices i have the pilot MR (fine nib i guess and if you have other e-shops than ebay) or a little higher the TWSBI classic, maybe later.

I maybe must purchase cheap other pens to test nib sizes first.

Btw i don't really know to clean my pen, i saw tutos on goulet and other, if you have accessories to recommend..

Thanks !

Lamy Safari Neon Yellow 2013 SE. Wanted a pen to dedicate to testing inks so I'm not dumping ink from regular use pens.

I've been wanting a Caran d'Ache Ecridor for a long time and when I saw a mint one (complete with box) over the weekend for $120 I jumped at the chance. It's the chevron design with a fine nib. This will actually be my first fine nib pen so I'm excited about that.

Can't wait till it gets here!

Wahl Doric Fountain Pen - Full Size, Carnelian, "Flexible" Fine Nib

It's a pretty pen and my first toe into vintage flex. I'm pretty excited! Also on the way is my Hobo 2015 and a pad of Tomoe paper, so that's my pen budget for October gone.

A few minutes free time, a stomach full of Canadian Thanksgiving dinner, and a few ryes led to this impulse purchase:

Geha 725. Always wanted a Goldschwing, so I was pretty jazzed to jump on it. Needs a little TLC, but I'm looking forward to it!

It was just a little over a week ago I had just received my Nussbaum Pen Co. Phoenix Series White Mountain & Monteverde Prima. Since then I ordered the Noodler's Konrad Sahara Olive Ripple Ebonite, Monteverde Napa Bordeaux, Nussbaum - Jon Ross Series Ivory Blue and a Jinhao Blue Celluloid, along with (4) additional Jinhao 599s for taking class & study notes. With a bit of smoothing, the 599s have turned out to be a real pleasant surprise writer. For the Jinhao Blue Celluloid I ordered a Goulet 1.1 stub nib, as well as the appropriate 1.1 stub nib for my Monteverde Napa. I will be eating cereal for the remainder of this month.

In addition to my Wahl Doric I have also purchased my first Esterbrook. Pearl grey 'J' with a 9550 nib.

I hear it's like opening Pandora's box to start collecting Esties. We shall see. Haha!

(Can you tell that I'm excited?)

I bid on this pen last night, but didn't win. However, I got an email this morning with a "second chance" offer ... and wouldn't you know, the price was the exact same amount as my maximum bid. It's a miracle!

Oh, nice! A Nakaya Decapod Twist. Is that the Kuro-tamenuri? Or the Aka-tamenuri? I find it hard to tell from pictures sometimes.

It's the Kuro-Tamenuri. The poor lighting plus the bad camera doesn't really do the pen justice; the highlights are a lot more striking in person!
