And here is what I have on its way to me right now:

Pelikan M205 in medium nib.

Should be here Monday. Seeing it in person at the Dallas Pen Show confirmed it was the one for me. I have it coming to my work, so I'll have to be sure to take ink with me so I can use it right away...Really excited!

I just got one of these in the black lacquer a week or two ago. LOVE IT. Don't believe what people say about the roller ball refill being junk and skipping and writing scratchy. I love the feel of mine. I know rollerballs get worse as they deplete their ink supply, so maybe it will change behavior close to the end, but its amazing in the beginning. Oh, and in case you want options and didn't know, the Pilot G2 gel ink refills fit this pen perfectly...I went out and bought a set of two in .7 and ended up liking the stock Waterman cartridge much better. But at 8 bucks a pop, the Waterman refills are expensive. I plan to use the Pilot G2 refills in the 1.0 tip once I deplete everything I have currently...which will be a LONG time since I mostly use my FP right now...

I use only rollerball pens for convenience and thanks for the information. Indeed the pen is fantastic; i also want to get Waterman Perpsective rollerball pen.

I love everything in this picture. So much it pushed me over the edge to get the black and rose gold TWSBI and consider ordering an Oberon journal. What kind of notebook do you have in there?

Noodler's Ahab in the gorgeous Arizona color. Goulet nibs EF and 1.1 stub to trick it out.

And (imagine my happiness) a Pilot Custom 823 with a Mottishaw .6 cursive italic nib.

Don't know if I deserve such riches!

Brand new to fountain pens but I am now waiting on three Platinum Preppy's and a Pilot Petit1 Mini Fountain Pen. Super pumped for them to get here.

Waiting for three right now.

A Sheaffer lever fill with no cap, that will hopefully match the military clip cap I have.

A Sheaffer Lifetime and a Parker 51 Vacumatic (my first). They may be a little rough, but for $35 total, I can take a chance. This might even be my first Parker repair. We'll see.

I don't know why (I think it was the cap and color), it was an impulse buy, but I'm looking forward to an orange Sailor Reglus.
