I, ummm, had a little buying spree over the last few weeks. Inbound should be:

1. Conway Stewart Churchill in Bronze with an IM nib

2. Conway Stewart 100 60th Anniversary LE in Pistachio, B nib

3. Pelikan K800 Blue O' Blue to match my M800 (yes, it's a BALLPOINT, don't shoot me!)

4. Pelikan M200 Cognac (might be delayed )

5. Franklin-Christoph Model 19 Black with Gold rings, 1.9mm Music nib

6. Platinum 3776 Century Chartres Blue, Music nib

7. Edison Glenmont LE Group Buy, but this will be awhile

8. Pelikan M600 Vibrant Green with a BB stub.

9. ...wait, I think that's it

OK, when I see it listed out like that, even I am appalled. I need to go hide my credit cards, be back soon...

EDIT: Oops, I forgot one, add the M600

Fountain Pen Revolution Triveni. 1 red acrylic for my boyfriend, 3 ebonites as potential gifts (mottled brown, mottled red, mottled blue) aaand a nib set for them. All flex originally. Wanna see how they compare to Noodler's pens.

Just a little white Kaweco Sport FP. I heard about these cute pens on here so thought I'd try one :)

UK-based pen fan. I love beautiful ink bottles, sealing wax, scented inks, and sending mail art. Also, thanks to a wonderful custom-ground nib by forum member Bardiir, I'm currently attempting calligraphy after years of not being able to do so due to having an odd pen-grip :D

None!! My Esterbrook (SJ model instead of J, as it turns out) arrived yesterday, and it was the last order I had placed and will place for some time. (Until something shiny and pretty passes my field of vision.) I've been thoroughly enjoying the Esterbrook, though. The 9128 nib is not overly flexy, but flexy enough to have some fun with and give nice pops of variation.

I really want to try to save up for some higher-end pens. A Pilot Falcon in Soft EF is first on the hit list. Or a Kaweco Lilliput in Brass with an EF nib. And the big ticket item for which I will likely be saving for a couple years is a Nakaya Ama-Iro, either Naka-ai or Piccolo body, with a Spencerian flex modification. DROOL.

I've been waiting for a Nakaya matte light briar. I'll probably get it by the end of October, given their time estimates.

In the meantime I must've gone mad, but I have never before just kind of drooled at the sight of a fountain pen and started plotting how I could afford to get it. It's been a more abstract and non-compulsive thing for me up until now -- I've almost been buying a Nakaya for years, for example.

However, now I'm also waiting for an Edison Nouveau Premiere Autumn Harvest to arrive, hopefully sometime next week.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
