May I just say Lou, the Cursive Italic Pelikan M400 nib from Richard Binder totally counts... it will change your life! (so i've read and one day when pocket flourishes will find out!) :)

This could be fun.

Recently landed are a plane inspired pen, a patent inspired Vac, a Princess or an ugly duck (not sure which), and an Club Award.

Been an interesting week for pens.

I just got my first italifine from Richard Binder (which has a cursive italic on one side and a fine nib on the other) and OMG. MindBlown. I got it on a Pelikan 405 and promptly ordered another for an Edison. I want this nib on All My Pens. It is seriously so good I don't think I'll be buying anymore pens that Richard Binder doesn't make nibs for. I am pretty upset that word is he and his wife may be scaling down their store. . . I'm personally accelerating purchases there to make sure I get everything I want while I still can.

I thought about the Italifine, but decided to keep it simple.

I have always been a sucker for convertible devices. I don't know how much I'll use the fine, but I am glad to have it. I think my next purchase will be a double sided Edison Mina, with italifine- four nibs on one pen!

That's one of the same things that drove me to find a Parker 180 recently. Wish the 'fine' side of it wrote better. :)

I hope you like it. The Sheaffer Imperial nibs they put on them are lovely.

A Pelikan 300 with fine, flexible nib from about 1955 and a LAMY 2000 multi-pen to match my fountain pen and pencil.

Still patiently waiting for my yellow Hero 359, but I just bought an Esterbrook J model to go with the lovely flex nib I bought last week. <3 Yay! I really only have a couple more pens on my wishlist, then I think I'll be trying to save for a Nakaya. Unless I get distracted by a new Lamy color, hah.

Looks like I'm getting a Conway Stewart 100 in Crimson Blush, and a Pelikan M600 Vibrant Green. No more pens for awhile. I think.

Due to the demise of Conway Stewart, my 100 seems to be a victim of really bad timing on my part. I very much doubt I will ever see it, so I'll have to look elsewhere for a 100.

Still waiting on the M600, too.

Sigh...

Nothing important. . . . Just my first Parker 51 from the England pen show today! With many thanks to MY63 who very kindly recommended the pen to me then spent the morning searching for it in teal.

Annnnnnd a bonus pen. My63 spotted a beautiful pink Fantasy Parker 51, made by Ariel Kullock and sold by Jim Marshall, at the show. Knowing I love pink, he kindly took a picture and is arranging for me to purchase it.

Terribly pleased to wake up to a (virtual) mail box describing lovely new pens in the mail! I'll spend a few hours this morning reading about the 51. Sounds like a great pen!

How do you go abbout finding a nib for a J? I have one J with a particularly scratchy nib, but the nib is longr than the SJs. What size is it? Did you find a nib assemby with a flex nib? hum!!
