...nuff said :D!

"The truth may be puzzling. It may take some work to grapple with. It may be counterintuitive. It may contradict deeply held prejudices. It may not be consonant with what we desperately want to be true. But our preferences do not determine what's true..." (Carl Sagan)

I'm currently waiting on my first high(ish) end Japanese pen, a Pilot CH 91 with a SFM nib. Should be here in about two weeks from Japan.

So many inks, so little time...

I'm waiting for a Lamy 2000 in B, finally getting one! It will be a long wait though, I'm told 4-8 weeks...

Btw. I "hate" this thread, too much temptation!

Picasso 916 Malage - Red with a fine nib. Looks so nice and the price was super. Also waiting on another Jinhao X450, a Jinhao 188, and a Baoer 801. Very good prices. Other than that I have no idea why I purchased any of them.

A Literati from Scriptorium Pens, the "Magenta Bliss." Which would be a great name for a Bond Girl.

At least it isn't like anything else I own already!

Well, my mind was blown this morning because Brian Gray sent me a picture of the custom Edison Beaumont he made for me. Butterfly Garden. Look at how the colors match across the pen and the cap. I am elated. I can't believe how gorgeous it is. It arrives Friday . . . let the countdown begin.

As a result of many posts in the past week, I've ended up buying a pen that I used to hate. Thanks!

Tom.

Wow! That's stunning! Well-made and well-chosen. What a beautiful material.

Pilot Justus 95 …. NO wait!

I`ve canceled my order just yesterday, so this turns out to be the sixth week where I`m not waiting for a pen in the mail.

Seems like the FPAS- (Fountain Pen Acquisition Syndrome) self-help group meetings do have an effect!

An FA nib Heritage 912

… but I admit I`m playing with the thought here

Apparently I spend my time waiting for pens in the mail buying more pens that will come in the mail. After my Danitrio comes in I will be waiting for a Platinum 3776 Century Bourgogne.

If you want less blah, blah, blah and more pictures, follow me on Instagram!

My vintage pen arrived today. It's a Cadet BCHR, or so the listing claimed and the pen is so marked, but I can't find any information on this pen whatsoever. Ah well, the nib is gold and it flexes, and I have just cleaned and gave it a new ink sac. Just waiting for the shellac to fully dry before I ink it up!

The Cursive Italic Pelikan M400 nib from Richard Binder may not count.

The Parker Arrow (in medium), the other Parker Arrow (in fine), and the shiny, shiny azure '46 Vacumatic Major from Peyton Street Pens do, though.

I've wanted a Vacumatic since I first saw them, and Teri had just the one I've been looking for. And I'm a sucker for NOS with things that aren't the usual open nib.
