What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

MY pen ARRIVED!!!!!! WOO HOO! I had been feeling it all day long. Listening for trucks pulling up, keeping the volume inside low... and then about 8pm my doorbell rang and I flew off the couch and right to the door where the Oh so Pretty PostMan held my new custom made pen! It is custom made by an Israeli Engineer and I love the unique closed end style that is meant to be written with cap free. The German #6 medium 24 ct. gold with iridium tip is beautiful and smooth! All my other nibs up to this point have been silver, so this is my first gold/iridium combo. I like it! It came with a generic blue ink already set, so I cannot wait for it to be done so that I can use one of my own.

Amazing looking pen! What sort of filling system does it use? I can't tell if the end is a blind cap, or it uses cartridges?

Really cool! Glad it's working so well for you!

A Pelikan M400 white tortoise! I am so excited, aaaa. If I weren't on mobile, I would put a bunch of happy/in love emoticons right here. THIS IS THE LAST PEN ILL EVER NEED.

:( no updates on stamps.com since the package left the usps sort facility on Aug. 30th. I'm getting really nervous, here...

One obvious weakness in my little FP collection is that not a single one of them can wind a cassette.

That's actually the most important feature of the Bic Crystal. I thought that was it's only purpose until I noticed someone using it to write something down one day, must have been out of pencils :P

The (pair of) M205s arrived today; one for my wife (white), one for me (black), both with EF nibs.

Which we tested, and she got the nib with the finest line and not-too-wet flow swapped to her pen. And she likes it.

Mine has an oddly lumpy tip that seems to spread out the writing surface a bit, and it's really wet. Probably will send the nib to Chartpak (?) for a more representative EF nib.

But for the most part, I like it.

According to the tracking information, the pen should have been delivered today... but it's 5:30 pm, the mail has been delivered, and no pen :o

Patience is hard!

Pen came in the second postal delivery of the day?!? But who cares! It's here and it's awesome!

I'll try to post some photos and writing samples, but it probably won't happen until after the weekend!

Whoot! I just ordered a Parker Lady Duofold ringtop, a second Noodler's Ahab in Pequot, and an Esterbrook 9128 nib!

In a few months, you'll have the same problem as me :" how can I display all those pens " ...... :D :D :D :D :D

I proudly keep them on my desk! Haha. I might get some kind of display shelving someday.

I also bought a Hero 359 in yellow earlier.. I simply must compare it to a real Safari.

Jinhao 159.

The last week has seen me a green x450 and a TWSBI Vac700. I'm up to four with the fifth pen in transit and only one ink. I think that needs to change come payday.

I have bought way too many pens this year. I meant to order just a Richard Binder Cursive Italic .9 (for a Pelikan whose nib I ruined by dropping it) and in the process I also ordered (from PensinAsia) the Toledo red M205. I can't wait for the nib and the 205!

I already have a hard time deciding which pen to use. Yet I still seem to want new pens.

No more for a year at least!

This one.

Saw that Richard Binder was going to be phasing out his retail business, so I thought I'd better pull the trigger on a Gate City Readyfill.

I just wish the clip were a little more... subtle. At least it's removable. Maybe someday I'll find one that's more to my liking.
