Just ordered an Edison Pearlette Violet Flake. I love Edison pens and have thought about this model for a long time. My first grandchild was born on Friday so I decided to treat myself and placed my order.

Congrats on the new rugrat!. I have the Pearlette in Deep Indigo Flake. It's a great pen, small and light, perfect for carrying around. I had only one tiny complaint, it was a very dry writer, but quickly solved with a few gentle tugs on the nib wings to increase ink flow.

I have very few bling/expensive pens I might want. But that one is my grail. Which will stay my grail for eons, I suspect....

Awaiting shipment of a Binderized Pilot VP Matte Black with EF nib. I was originally planning on getting a nice rollerball for work since I have to write on copy paper or jot quick notes most of the time so I needed something practical.

Quickly convinced myself that the VP might be a better spend. Hopefully I’m right!

The only thing I'm still not 100% sure on is the Matte Black finish. Have read some remarks about lack of durability which makes me wonder if I should get a different finish. But the only other one I like is the Raden finish

I`m waiting on a Kaweco Liliput in brass with F nib. It is a belated birthday present from my relatives to me.

Some wonderful purchases being made by forum members :)

I am waiting for a Lamy 2k with a medium nib. I have one with a BB nib but that is too broad even for a fan of broad stubby nibs!

Tried a cheap dip pen from the craft store. I like the concept, but not the plastic pen and cheap nibs. Looking forward to this pretty thing.

I'm awaiting a Noodler's Ahab (clear) and Kaweco Mint Skyline Classic. Am thinking that I might spring for a Binder Namiki nib for my Green faceted VP, if I ever find it...

I only have cheap plastic dip bodies as well, but I'm looking for wooden ones. As for nibs, try ones made by Brause! I only have four, but I love them! And of course any flexible dip pens are always fun.

As for what I'm waiting for in the mail, still my Kaweco Skylines. At least the eBay seller finally replied. They SHOULD be here this week. I'm just irritated that the listings said 4-6 business days for delivery, but the seller states it usually takes two weeks. if it takes two weeks, then put THAT in the listing, dang it!!

Also just ordered a vintage Welsh lever-filler. I'm a sucker for pearlescent celluloid, and this one was all silvery purple and green.. Oooo, shiny! A cheap-o pen, but I have fun doing repairs. Lately I've been getting into the idea of nib-switching. So this is semi-related to the dip nibs, I kind of want to see if I can put a flexible Hunt drawing nib (or another flexible dip nib) into a fountain pen feed. I've seen a couple successes here on the forums, but all of my dip nibs were a little too thick to fit into any sections for my current pen collection. Maybe I'll luck out with the Welsh! :P

A pair of Pelikan M205's, both with EF nibs, one black, one white, one for me, one for my wife.

The deal was too good to pass up.

I think I have a Waterman #12 eye-dropper, Eversharp Skyline and Parker Duofold on the way, due to arrive in a week or two. This is going to be my very first eye-dropper ever! So excited..

Lovely Challenger! I have a couple (see my signature), but I definitely need a green one someday. Congrats on yours!

Thanks. Can't wait for it. They are obviously vanity shots in perfect lighting, but these guys seem to be doing a good job with restoration. Still haven't made up my mind whether to find a matching ink (Diamine Syrah?) or go with a conservative blue.
