What pen are you waiting for in the mail?

That's a dip-less pen. They hold a lot of ink for being a dip pen. It's easy to change out the nibs too.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing these were made in the transitional period before fountain pens completely took over. I'm not sure when that would have been. It's nice to know it'll easily fit different nibs.

I still trying to figure out how much it's worth. I know how much I paid for it, but for justifying any future repairs/in case I need to re-sell it at some point, it would be nice to know.

I took a bit of a risk since it was going so cheaply; I haven't actually seen the nib. The photo only shows the collector underneath. But since the seller said it looks as though it's never been used, I decided to take the risk. If there's anything wrong with it, it'll get returned. I'm hoping it's all just fine and the nib will wind up being some sort of pleasant surprise.

My first Pilot Vanishing Point. Black with Rhodium trim and a medium nib. It's my first experience with Classic Pens as well.

What have I done? I'm currently waiting on seven Esterbrooks, and a Sheaffer Statesman. I should probably relax, fix a few and sell them. I'm not exactly rich.

A conway stewart 100 black whirl with 0.8 cursive italic as a present for my wife

Very nice. I have a CS Wellington in Black Whirl, it's just a stunning material. I hope she'll be very happy with it.

You really shouldn't tempt me further! :P But they are all so sleek and attractive.. I can see myself getting the other three in the near future.

That makes two of us -- I didn't know they came in other colors (I have a red one from a batch that FPN member Uncle Red was giving away at the first pen club meeting I went to, because he decided he didn't like fine nibs). I don't use it much, now that I have better pens, but it writes pretty well and sure is pretty.

By all rights, I shouldn't be waiting for any pens, but I am.

Because I left my 3-pen case while sitting at Paul Erano's table at the SF Pen Show, saying goodbye before my 9-hour drive back home. Thankfully, he figured out who had left it, and passed it along to friends. It will make its way down to me soon enough.

Inside? Brand new Wahl/Eversharp 100th Anniversary pen in Mosaic finish from Syd at W/E, a Ranga acrylic from Teri at Peyton Street Pens (hosting a Sheaffer Imperial factory stub I had), and a lovely Cedar Blue Vac 51 with "wavy line" gold cap from John Strother.

Sheesh. I am so counting my blessings...

I received a Charcoal Lamy Safari last week. Wow, is that a great color for a Safari. I used it for a day. I love it for a desk pen because when I'm on the phone I can pop the cap off with one hand.

Well, my husband appropriated it. So I ordered one in Neon Coral.

The Hero 369 and 9288. I needed a couple of fine nibs for note-taking on cheaper paper, and I figured for less than $2 apiece (free shipping from China) I couldn't really go wrong with these.

My charcoal and coral Safaris just turned up, as well as my new Vista :D sadly my R&K Alt Goldgrun ink was missing from the parcel - I was really looking forward to that :( oh well, will chase the shop up when it reopens tomorrow.

UK-based pen fan. I love beautiful ink bottles, sealing wax, scented inks, and sending mail art. Also, thanks to a wonderful custom-ground nib by forum member Bardiir, I'm currently attempting calligraphy after years of not being able to do so due to having an odd pen-grip :D

Got my first Lamy last week an Al Star in Blue green and loved it so much I've decided to collect the rest, well as many as I can find.

I went mad and have ordered 3 more in ruby red, silver blue and pearl. I though start with the special and limited editions then work through the standard colours.

It's a good job my cat buys me pens for birthdays and Christmas.

Sheaffer 100, brushed chrome for me and matte black for hubby. Both fine point. Hubby has one with a medium and decided he would prefer a fine. I don't really need one, but........ Now to decide what color ink to put in mine. Already have a green and a black ink. What to choose next......

I really like Jinhao pens, I haven't gotten a bad one yet. I also like the Baoer 79 and want to order the set of three.

Take a look at a Crocodile 232. Also very nice and not too costly :)

I loved my first Pendleton Brown nib so much that I bought a TWSBI 580 AL from him.

Caretaker for a bevy of Swans.
