Waiting for a Berol Handwriting cartridge pen, a Pilot Petit, a Platinum Preppy 03, and another Parker 45.

Going through a phase of trying out the cheap FP options...to find out if they are cheerful as well.

A couple of very interesting pens! With these purchases I think I will not be buying any pens for some time to come.

This one I have wanted since I laid my eyes on it back when it was announced. Thanks to Dennis at La Couronne du Comte, I can now say that #223 is mine!

Two limited edition Pilot Vanishing Points. Always wanted the purple for myself and the pink for my girlfriend!

And finally two Pelikan Tortoiseshells! The M800 is for myself, the M600 is for my girlfriend.

All these plus 8 bottles of ink, some Clairefontaine Triomphes and a converter for my Sailor Professional Gear Imperial Black.

Can't wait!

Very excited about my new purchases. I haven't purchased a new pen in almost two years!

a Silver Waterman (that's what it was listed as)

Pilot VP in Matte Black

Zchen - did you get your 1911 off an Ebay seller in Japan with auction listings for that pen in different nib sizes (sorry, not sure if we are allowed to name names)?

I need to stop buying for a while... new lot coming in, including two pens with glass nibs, one of which is a crescent filler (probably a Spors, I expect both are). One has a really funky body, pattern-wise.

Ooooh! I've been looking at glass-nibbed Spors pens recently. Lucky you!

I'm preemptively waiting for a Wing Sung 237, a couple Lamy Safaris, and Parker Vacumatic repair items. I haven't ordered them yet.. I will be waiting in earnest after I get paid and make said purchases. But I'm already angsting over them all. Sigh.

I'm waiting for two pens right now then I quit buying. If I were to say what, I'm sure someone will hang out and snatch 'em from my postman!

I TOTALLY do the same thing "angsting over them" before I can even buy the pens (or ink, or paper)

Angsting must now officially be made into a word, lol ;)

Fantastic! Though I hate to admit it, this describes the days before every purchase.

"should I? Shouldn't I? Which color? Which one? Both?" but yet I still love the process ... Odd. Thank you for giving us this perfect word for the experience.

Haha, maybe "pining" is more accurate, but I do feel a bit sad that they're not yet in the mail.

Also, enjoy that Plumix!! I love mine. It gives very nice line variation without being too bulky.

LOL sure, pining would work, but there is something more edgy about the word Angsting ;) I like it!

I have been thinking about getting a Plumix for months now, but it always gets pushed to the back burner for something else. This time I just dived for it with a few ink samples from Goulet.
